Nagaland: Lockdown continues in global epidemic, state government gives exemption to
people stranded in their villages

Date -8th May 2020: The outbreak of global epidemic continues, and
the state of Nagaland is being declared a green zone. The buses for
transportation was arranged and provided by the Government of Nagaland to those
stranded outside the village to return to their villages. Inter-district
transport eased free service for the stranded people. The stranded people
appeared to gather at the State Stadium, Dimapur on 7 May 2020 waiting to go to
their own hometown. Buses are going to various villages and districts for
public interest litigation for free. To fight the global epidemic, this step of
the government is working to energize the lives of common people.
